HEALTH: Carrot Catastophe

Carrots are a cheery addition to any meal, and they are also beneficial to your health. Most people have heard that carrots are good for eyesight, but that’s not the only health benefit they boast. Carrots can also help lower cholesterol, prevent heart attacks and several types of cancer. They are rich in potassium, and vitamins K, A, and C as well.

Myth: The only way to eat carrots is in a salad.

FALSE.

Actually there are various ways to eat carrots, and if you think you’ve tried them all, here is a fun and quick recipe from Wildwood Lifestyle Center & Hospital, an OCI ministry in Georgia. Click the picture for the recipe. The only catastrophe you should have on your hands is not having enough carrots to make it again.
